Please understand that we file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. We do not have a contract with your insurance company, only you do. If we have all of your insurance information on the day of the appointment and the ability to verify your coverage, we will be happy to file your claim for you. You must be familiar with your insurance benefits as we will collect from you the estimated amount insurance is not expected to pay. Insurance benefits change throughout the year based on the renewal date for that particular employer. Therefore, we can only estimate, not guarantee, what your insurance company will pay to the best of our ability at that time. The percentage paid is determined by how much you or your employer has paid for coverage or the type of contract your employer has set up with the insurance company. Most importantly, please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address or a change of employment.
We are a preferred provider for Delta Dental, Anthem, some types of Connecticut General, and Guardian and Dentaquest, however, we are able to electronically file claims with most dental insurance. Call our office for any questions you might have regarding your coverage.
To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire.
Please remember that insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
